The arrival of a Lenovo G560 as a present a few years ago soon turned from excitement to frustration. Apparently the Windows 8 user interface was too much for a tech savvy teenager!?!?! Once again Linux Mint came to the rescue. At the time LM17 XFCE became her desktop of choice and saw her successfully through her entire High School years, without any hicups with file compatibility on homework or project assignments.
